The Navigator II was the base model in the FLIR range until recently.

It has now been superseded by the M-Series which can offer greater capability and superior aesthetics at an equivalent price. We've left the data on this model for the time being for comparison purposes but please visit our FLIR M-Series information page to see the future of infrared imaging.

Navigator II features

Extremely affordable - the FLIR Navigator II is offered at an extremely affordable price, bringing thermal imaging technology to a broader audience.

Crisp thermal images - FLIR's Navigator II provides a crisp and clear 320 x 240 pixel thermal image.

Wide-angle lens - the Navigator II features a 19mm wide angle lens, providing a wide field of view (36°), eliminating the need for stabilisation.

Designed for harsh marine environments - the Navigator II is an extremely rugged system and operates between -25°C and +55°C. Its core is IP66 rated and protected against humidity and water. It can be cleaned with a hose.

Remote control panel - Navigator II Pan/Tilt is supplied with an integrated joy stick remote control panel.

Easy-to-use pan and tilt system - the pointing direction of the FLIR Navigator II Pan/Tilt is indicated on screen so that you always know in which direction the camera is looking.

Lightweight and versatile - both versions of the FLIR Navigator II can be installed at any position on board.

Easy-to-install - the images from the Navigator’s 320 x 240 pixels detector can be displayed on virtually any existing multifunction display that accepts composite video.

FLIR Navigation II versions

Two different versions are  available:

• Static - a fixed mount version of the Navigator II that always points in the same direction.
• Pan/Tilt - allowing rotation of +/- 180° and tilting +/-45° with joystick operation.
