The FLIR HM-Series is a range of handheld shock-resistant thermal imaging cameras. FLIR HM-Series cameras produce a crisp image in the darkest of nights and bring the benefits of FLIR's market leading technology into the hands of boat skippers on craft as small as RIBs and small yachts. These are also excellent units for use on mobile harbour, marina, boatyard and rescue patrols.

HM-Series features

Extremely affordable - FLIR HM-Series offers the lowest price way of accessing FLIR technology in a take anywhere, use anywhere package.

Crisp thermal images - the HM-224 produces thermal images of 240 x 180 pixels. The HM-324 and HM-307 produce thermal images of 320 x 240 pixels on which the smallest of details can be seen. Camera software produces a crisp image without the need for user adjustments.

Choice of lenses - 24° field of view for the HM-224 and HM-324, a 2X extender is available which offers a 12° field of view. 7° field of view for the HM-307.

Extremely portable and rugged - rated at IP67 but with a manageable weight of 660g, batteries included. HM-224 models can operate between 0°C-50°C and the HM-324 and HM-307 models can operate at temperatures between-20°C-60°C.

Easy-to-operate - FLIR HM-Series cameras are fully controlled with just five backlit buttons on top of the unit.

Hot shoe - FLIR HM-Series cameras come standard with a 'hot shoe' which allows for tripod mounting and power-in and video-out connection.

Long battery life - The FLIR HM-Series cameras work on four rechargeable AA NiMH batteries (supplied) that have an operating time of over five hours on a single charge. Standard non-rechargeable Alkaline or Lithium Ion AA batteries can also be fitted.

Additional features - XP versions of the HM-324 and HM-307 and the Pro version of the HM-224 add the following features:

• Image storage on a removable SD-card (a 1 GB SD-card holds up to 20,000 images).
• USB2 connection - to transfer the saved images to a PC.
• Digital zoom - 2X.
