The FLIR MS-Series is a new range of coat pocket sized thermal image night vision cameras.

Lightweight, rugged and maintenance free, the MS-Series is weather protected to IP67 rating and produces thermal images of 240 x 180 pixels for the MS-224 model or 320 x 240 pixels for the MS-324. The MS-324 also features a 2 x digital zoom, allowing detection of small vessels two-thirds of a nautical mile away (1.2km).

FLIR MS-Series thermal mage night vision cameras are controlled via four buttons on top of the unit and powered by a built-in Li-ion batteries giving typical usage time of 5-7 hours on a single charge via a USB port that also facilitates software upgrades. The cameras can be handheld or tripod mounted and they also have a built-in LED task light in the front of the unit to provide a useful torchlight when required.

The FLIR MS Series is competitively priced and provides an ideal entry into the world of thermal imaging, which is far superior to other night vision technologies, both above decks for watch keeping and below decks to detect hot spots.
